Membership in the LaPorte County Association of REALTORS is comprised of REALTORS and affiliate members throughout LaPorte County, Indiana. Members receive a great number of benefits as part of their membership in the Association, including:
- Participation in the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of REALTORS (GNIAR) Multiple Listing Service, which serves Northern Indiana, Southwestern Michigan, and the Chicagoland Area
- New Member Orientation, which includes NAR Mandatory Code of Ethics Training, instructing new REALTORS on the basic tools needed to succeed in the real estate industry
- Adherence to Professional Standards, including the Association providing grievance, arbitration, and mediation services to members
- IAR Legal Hotline offering members access to the Indiana Association of REALTORS LISA Legal Hotline through their principal broker
- Monthly Membership Meetings each month in which we provide an opportunity for members to meet with their fellow REALTORS and affiliate members at General Membership Meetings, including two meetings providing Continuing Education Credit Hours
- Publication subscriptions are also included in membership including IAR's REALTOR newsletter, NAR's REALTOR Magazine, and the LaPorte County Association of Realtors monthly newsletter

What's required for membership in the LaPorte County Association of REALTORS?
- New members submit an application to the Association office, reviewed by a membership committee, and approved by the Board of Directors. Applications are available from the Association office.
- Current membership costs:
- REALTORS - A one-time $200 application fee plus annual association dues, which for 2004 are $330 per year per REALTOR.

- Affiliate Members - A one-time $100 application fee plus annual association dues, which for 2004 are $200 per year per Affiliate Member.

- Dues are payable on November 30 for the next fiscal year (January to December). Renewal notices are sent to member offices on October 15. All dues questioned should be directed to the Executive Officer.
