The LaPorte County Association of REALTORS is an organziation that began from two separate Associations. Both the Michigan City Board of REALTORS and the LaPorte Board of REALTORS were created more than 50 years ago. On January 1, 1994, the LaPorte Board of REALTORS and the Michigan City Board of REALTORS merged to become the LaPorte County Association of REALTORS. We have approximately 220 REALTOR Members and approximately 40 Affiliate Members.

In the spring of 2002, the LaPorte County Association of REALTORS Multiple Listing Service joined the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of REALTORS Multiple Listing Service to better serve our members. As part of a larger MLS, our LaPorte Members have the advantage of serving a larger area of the Northwest Indiana region.

And our Association continues to grow - with more Members and Affiliate Members than ever before. But our vision remains clear - to proudly serve our Members and Affiliate Members with the kind of positive professional communication and information they have come to know and trust from the LaPorte County Association of REALTORS.
